When Mimi (Rozeddie's sister) contacted me asking me to be the photographer for Rozeddie and Sylvia's wedding reception, I got really excited about it. You see, this is my first wedding coverage for the year 2010. There's only one catch, I've never met the couple before and I never got any direct contact with the couple until the day of the reception. Suffice to say that I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. However, once I met the lovely couple all my tension and apprehension just melted away. Rozeddie and Sylvia, both of you make such a wonderful pair and I wish you all the happiness in the world in your marriage. Thank you so much for having the faith and trust in me to record the wonderful moments of your reception even though we never met. And a special thanks to Mimi for your confidence and appreciation of my photowork.

I always thought the red chandeliers of 1Borneo Grand Ballroom is the funkiest ballroom light in town.
The entertainment for the reception was fabulous! There were cultural dance performances,...
...a live band...
...and special guest singer from Bali (who happens to be the groom's sister's date).
Don't you just love looking at happy laughing brides?

You know Alvin, I think you do some pretty GREAT photography work :D You really capture the essence of the occasion spot on.I can actually 'feel' the gaiety in the air!

Mimi: Thanks very much for the Mimi! Actually I find it refreshing to see a YB just being another person member enjoying the festivities without any need for formalities and protocols... I think it's actually what all YBs should do, in my opinion la... it helps for "normal" rakyat like us to be able to relate better with them...

Lizeewong: wah thanks!! ermm... if we really have to do a re-shoot i will have a headache trying to pick who i wanna do the shoot for us... there are so many good photographers around here.. i guess it will come down to the the photog's style that i like the best.. :)
