I have recently purchased a Nikkor 50mm f1.8D which is my first prime lens and I got the opportunity to do a live-test at a friend's wedding last Saturday. Since I am not the official photographer for the wedding, I am free to test and experiment with my new toy. I decided that I would shoot some scenes and moments during the wedding at the lens' widest aperture. The images below are the results of my testing.
